Fraxel® Laser

Page Updated:

Fraxel fractional laser resurfacing technology provided by Deep Blue Med Spa to patients in in NYC, Long Island, and Manhattan, precisely targets common skin concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation like sun damage, brown spots, and age spots as well as acne scars and other scars to transform the skin for a flawless look. Using pinpoint laser beams that penetrate beneath the skin’s surface, this treatment stimulates the body’s own natural healing process as it removes decaying and damaged skin cells and leaves behind healthy tissue for faster healing.

What Is Fraxel Laser Treatment?

The Fraxel laser treatment is a non-invasive skin resurfacing procedure that utilizes fractional laser technology to target and improve a wide range of skin concerns. Whether you’re dealing with fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars, uneven skin tone, or age spots, Fraxel can help restore your skin’s natural beauty.

Fractional laser skin resurfacing treatments can utilize both the intense energy of ‘ablative’ lasers, or the lower energy of non-ablative lasers. The ablative laser is ideal for those with more severe skin conditions. As redness or flaking may occur following these effective treatments, clients may wish to take ‘social downtime’ or purchase camouflage makeup for a few days following treatment.

Fraxel For Stretch Mark Reduction

In certain cases Fraxel can be an effective treatment for reducing the appearance of stretch marks. This advanced technology works by creating microscopic wounds within the skin’s deeper layers, stimulating the body’s natural healing process. As a result, new collagen and elastin are produced, leading to improved skin texture and a reduction in the visibility of stretch marks. Fraxel is especially beneficial because it offers precision and control, targeting only the affected areas without harming surrounding skin. This approach ensures a more focused treatment, leading to better outcomes with minimal downtime.

How Does Fraxel Work?

Fraxel is a non-surgical anti-aging laser treatment that works by delivering precise, controlled columns of laser energy to the skin’s surface. These microscopic treatment zones penetrate the skin’s deeper layers, stimulating the body’s natural healing process and triggering the production of new collagen and elastin fibers. As a result, the skin is rejuvenated from within, revealing smoother, healthier, and younger-looking skin.
