There is so much to do before your wedding! You start making a list of all the essentials for the big day, let’s see what’s on it:

  • Dress
  • Shoes
  • Hair
  • Makeup
  • Venue

But what about your skin? Achieving flawless skin may seem like one more thing to add your endless list, but there’s good news. We are professionals and here to help you!Here is a guide to help you get closer to flawless skin for your big day:

Begin treatments 6 months to 1 year before your wedding day, depending on the concerns being treated.

6 months before: Visit your Medical Spa and depending on your skin concerns, you will be paired with the perfect provider to address your specific needs. These can include an Aesthetician, Physician’s Assistant, Physician, or perhaps all three! Getting the right skincare regimen for your individual needs is extremely important. Botox®, Fillers, laser treatments, micro-needling, chemical peels, and/or facials should begin at this time for maximum results by your wedding day.

5 months before: Continue with a series of facial treatments, including peels, laser hair removal, micro-needling, microdermabrasion, and/or facials. Schedule a follow-up appointment with your provider to evaluate that the chosen skin care products are right for your skin. Vitamin A should be introduced to improve skin texture, brighten tone and prevent pre-mature aging.

4 months before: Continue with a series of facial treatments. Begin waxing eyebrows and adjust facial treatments if needed to maximize results.

3 months before: Follow up with your physician for possible maintenance of Botox® and fillers.

2 months before: Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate. By now you should see some really nice results with your skin. Keep dryness away by hydrating your skin for a nice smooth texture to improve makeup application.

1 month before: Treat yourself to a hydrating facial, drink plenty of water, exercise, and get lots of rest to keep those dark circles at bay!
